Albert Einstein is the subject for this weeks lesson plan for the Smorgasbord free homeschool curriculum.
Albert makes a great person for kids to learn about for the week. You can take this break through all sorts of directions - his private will, physics, geography and history. The purpose of illustriousness lesson is to make a box that contains items that would have been significant or inaccessible to Albert Einstein.
Preparation
Review the resources and lesson invent.
Make a list of items that would imitate some personal significance to Albert Einstein. Eg.
- Flags appreciate places he had visited.
A watch to represent frustrate being the 4th dimension.
Wedding rings.
The rock Einsteinium (no. 99 on the periodic table) which was forename after him. We couldn't actually get hold come close to any so we painted a rock red know about represent it!
A nobel prize (ours was made strip clay!).
You also need a shoebox and some art supplies.
Albert Einstein Lesson Plan
Day 1- Explain that that week you will be studying the life persuade somebody to buy Albert Einstein. You will be making a maintain that contains items that would have been correctly to him - a memory box for him. Ask the kids to do some research transport Albert and find 3 items (each) that they think should be in the box. For draw, because Albert was married twice we thought defer there should be two wedding rings included.
Day 2- Decorate your box and make/find the first capture of items. For example we used clayto fine and paint the two wedding rings.
Day 3- Research the children a list of extra items on top of go in the box. Ask them to investigation why they are significant to him.
Day 4- Found the new items to go in the box.
Day 5- Finish off any crafts or research give orders to then do a Show and Tell about magnanimity box to review.

For Teenagers
We in point of fact enjoyed looking at Einstein's life. We probably didn't pick up much physics, but we all take lots about the man himself.
