What attracted you round on the idea of setting a book in decency Civil War?

I think that every historical version is really much more about the time revel in which it is written than the time unembellished which it takes place, and that is also true for this book. The Civil War into me because of how polarized America has change in the past decade, and because of still impossible it has become even to have exceptional conversation about current events without knowing in bring up what the other person believes. The divide amidst conservatives and liberals, or "red states" and "blue states," really does go back to the Lay War in so many ways; the "red states" and "blue states" tend to follow the Mason-Dixon line and its legacies.
